Legal Databases
The Squire Library subscribes to many on-line legal databases. In many cases, access is restricted to readers affiliated with Cambridge University School of Law and in certain instances, to any library within the University.
Use of these resources is via one of three routes:
Raven Authentication (previously Athens): This allows single sign-on to numerous services, either with university restricted access and/or secure off-campus access. More information about obtaining a Raven account can be found here.
IP address: To access the databases using this method, your computer must be connected to the CUDN (Cambridge University Network). More information about the CUDN can found on the CUDN website. Please note that some services work via a more restrictive list of IPs - for example only computers on the Law Faculty network.
Database specific passwords [DSP]: These are available only to Cambridge Faculty Members and Students. Passwords are available in the database specific passwords document (26k). Please note - to view this document you will need a Faculty of Law website login which can be obtained from the Faculty of Law Computer Office.

Contains the Europarecht and Patentrecht plus Modules as well as full text of 12 journals including including Neue Juristische Wochenschrift and Europäische Zeitschrift für Wirtschaftsrecht.
Casetrack
Full text of inter alia Court of Appeal and High Court judgments.
Dissertation Abstracts
American dissertations from 1861. British and European dissertations from 1988.
English Reports
Coverage 1220 - 1873.
Factiva
Includes business and general news. News pages include the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and The Economist.
Foreign Law Guide
Current sources of Codes and legislation of about 160 jurisdictions. Good guide to official sources.
HeinOnline
English Reports
Coverage from 1220-1865. Reprint in which the original footnotes are given. The reprint contains over 100,000 cases, representative of 265 separate series of reports, arranged by courts.
Foreign and International Law Resources Database
Includes Yearbooks, Serials, Digests and International Tribunals/Judicial Decisions.
Index to Foreign Legal Periodicals
Multilingual index to articles and book reviews appearing in more than 500 legal journals published worldwide.

World Constitutions Illustrated
This collection will contain the current constitution of every country in the world in its original language.
House of Commons Parliamentary Papers
This includes over 200,000 House of Commons sessional papers from 1715 to the present.

This currently indexes 1000 mainstream journals with permanent reference value, including some open access law journals, from Common Law jurisdictions. Coverage is from 1981.
International Law in Domestic Courts
A regularly updated repository of domestic cases in international law from over 60 jurisdictions.
Investment Arbitration Reporter
Electronic news service tracking cross-border arbitrations between foreign investors and their host goverments.
Investor-State LawGuide

Published every year since 1849, Who's Who is the leading source of up-to-date information about over 33,000 influential people in British public life today.
