It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Professor Kurt Lipstein at 11:15pm on Saturday 2nd December 2006.
We invite colleagues and friends of Kurt's to express their thoughts and condolences on his passing on our website and we will preserve your messages as part of this archive.
We have recently created an Eminent Scholars Archive as a resource to commemorate Scholarly achievements within the Faculty (Professor Lipstein being the first of these) and amongst other information, you can also view Professor Lipstein's biography, bibliography, and a gallery of photographs, as well listen to interviews with Professor Lipstein discussing his work and experiences at the Faculty, and the many eminent people he has encountered during that time.
The funeral was at 10.30 am on Thursday 14th December in the College Chapel. There will be a Memorial Service at Great St Mary's University Church at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday 10th March 2007.
