Professor Sir Robin Auld QCIn December 2009, Professor Sir Robin Auld was interviewed for the Squire Eminent Scholars Archive regarding his thoughts upon taking up the seat of the Goodhart Visiting Professorhip for Legal Science.

Sir Robin is a former Lord Justice of Appeal and Vice-Chairman of the Judicial Appointments Commission. He is now a Justice of the Bermuda Court of Appeal and President of the Solomon Islands Court of Appeal, and sits occasionally in the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. He has very recently led a Commission of Inquiry into Governmental Corruption in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Having completed his year in the position, Professor Sir Auld was interviewed again by Lesley Dingle on 18 August, and offered some reflections on his experiences.  The transcript of this interview, along with a transcript of the first interview, can be accessed in the Eminent Scholars Archive.

This is the fourth in a growing collection of interviews with occupants of the Goodhart Professorship, the first two being with Professor Martti Koskenniemi the previous incumbent.  These interviews form part of the larger growing collection of Eminent Scholars records.
