Justice Paul Finn interviewed for the Eminent Scholars Archive

The Squire Law Library and the Faculty of Law are pleased to announce that an interview with Justice Paul Desmond Finn has been added to the Eminent Scholars Archive.

Justice Finn is currently Arthur Goodhart Visiting Professor of Legal Science (2010 – 2011). He is a Judge of the Federal Court of Australia and was previously Professor and Head, Department of Law and Division of Philosophy and Law at the Australian National University.

Justice Finn was interviewed on 23 November 2010 in the Squire Law Library. During the interview he discusses his aspirations for research and teaching while at Cambridge, as well as giving insights into the historical development of the law and governance in the settler societies that ultimately became the federal Commonwealth of Australia.

This is the third in a growing collection of interviews with incumbents of the Goodhart Professorship, the first two being with Professor Martti Koskenniemi, and Sir Robin Auld.
