Professor Peter F. Cane Interviewed for the Eminent Scholars Archive

The Squire Law Library and the Faculty of Law are pleased to announce that an interview with Professor Peter Cane has been added to the Eminent Scholars Archive.

Professor Cane was the 2011-2012 Arthur Goodhart Visiting Professor of Legal Science, a position he held jointly with his wife Professor Jane Stapleton. He is currently Director and Professor at the John Fleming Centre for Advancement of Legal Research at the Australian National University, Canberra.

Professor Cane was interviewed on 10th July 2012 in the Squire Law Library. During the interview he reflected on his year at Cambridge, as well as discussing his research and teaching career while a lecturer, and then professor, at Oxford University, and later the ANU. He also talked about his books on, inter alia, tort and administrative law, tribunals and adjudication.

This is the fifth in a growing collection of interviews with incumbents of the Goodhart Professorship, previous interviewees being Professor Martti Koskenniemi, Sir Robin Auld, Justice Paul Finn and Professor Jane Stapleton.
