Welcome to all new students.

We hope the Squire Law Library will be a useful resource for you. You'll find reference books, journals and reports here to support your taught course (including a dedicated borrowing collection for MCL and LLM students) plus lots of space to study. The iDiscover catalogue and legal databases are your gateways to extensive electronic collections and you'll also find key resources available via Moodle.

If you're studying on the BA Law course, your College will have arranged a brief orientation tour of the library for you. If you're studying on the MCL course we look forward to welcoming your for an orientation as part of your Faculty welcome on Wednesday 9 October. If you're studying on the LLM course you can book a tour online. Alternatively, you can contact the Squire team at any point to arrange an introduction to the library.

We're here throughout the year to ensure you get the best possible access to resources and to assist with any enquiries you might have. So whether you're hunting for the textbook you need, looking for international law materials or tracking down an elusive case citation please don't hesitate to e-mail squire@law.cam.ac.uk, use the live chat facility on this website or pop in to the library.
