Rochelle DreyfussProfessor Rochelle C Dreyfuss was the Arthur Goodhart Visiting Professor of Legal Science for the academic years 2019-20. She was interviewed by video from the Goodhart Lodge on 28 April 2020.

Professor Dreyfuss has been the Pauline Newman Professor of Law and co-director of the Engelberg Center on Innovation Law and Policy, both at the New York University School of Law. Here she teaches and researches Intellectual Property Law.

The interview gives an account of how Professor Dreyfuss began her academic career by training and doing research in chemistry before working in the late 60s- 1970s in pharmacology at the Albert Einstein Medical School and then Ciba-Geigy in New York. She then made a major career change into Law via Columbia University before joining NYU Law School in 1983 where she has established a formidable reputation publishing and researching international Intellectual Property Law.
