The Squire Law Library begins a phased re-opening from today, Wednesday 7 April. Initially, the library will be open to pre-booked staff and students from 10:00-13:00 (Monday-Friday) to enable access to the IT facilities, print collections and study spaces.
In order to use the library, pre-booking is required:
- Socially distanced study spaces on level 3 of the library are available for any current University of Cambridge staff or student member to book, using the book a visit calendar
- Socially distanced study spaces on levels 1 and 2 of the library are available for current University of Cambridge law students to book (booking link available via Moodle)
Face coverings will be required in all areas of the building (unless a medical exemption applies) and social distancing protocols will be in place to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for both staff and students.
Bookings are not required to use the following services only:
- Click and collect book collections and returns
- Printing from your own device: In response to requests we have positioned a networked MFD (multi-functional device) outside the Enquiry Desk on level 1, for printing. Please note that print jobs must be sent from your personal device. If you would like to print from a PC terminal within the library, please book a visit.
The library's scan and deliver and click and collect services continue to operate, and the library Enquiry Desk can be contacted via 'live chat' or e-mail: squire@law.cam.ac.uk.
